This is my first draft of my front cover. I rushed this so I am really not too happy with it and I can assure you that my final draft will be much much more improved! There are a few things I do like about it, firstly I think the colours cheme is typical of that of a pop magazine, the colours are bright and girly which will draw the audience for my magazine in. Secondly, the banner is conventional and i feel it is an important when making a pop music magazine.
The things I have not included which I will in my next draft are;
Also, the fact that I didn't use a style model is a big problem so for my next draft I will be making sure that I stick to conventions properly.

- A bigger and bolder masthead

- More features to draw the readers attention
This looks like a really good pop music magazine! However I think you should fill the white gaps, by making the page busier and more exciting. You could also make sure that the model is wearing clothes that match the colour scheme as this is a typical convention of pop magazines. If you add a bar code, make the masthead larger and stick to he 3 colour scheme rule it will make your magazine look more professional. Well done though :)
